Scarborough Shooting Stars Re-Sign Top CEBL Scorer Terquavion Smith

The CEBL's fifth leading scorer is back for his second season in Scarborough

The Scarborough Shooting Stars have re-signed 6'4 guard Terquavion Smith for the 2026 season, the club announced Thursday.

Smith appeared in 15 games for the Shooting Stars in 2025, averaging 30.6 MPG and 22.6 PPG, both top 5 marks in the league. He made 50 total threes, a then Scarborough record that has since been passed by Myles Powell. He also averaged a team-high 5.1 assists, and shot solidly efficient: 43.6 from the field, 36.8 from three, and 82.6 from the line.


In his first game back in the endsss he dropped a game-high 29 points to go along with five assists and four rebounds in a 107-97 win against the Edmonton Stingers.


Smith has NBA experience with the Philadelphia 76ers when he averaged 3.3 points and 0.8 assists on 39% shooting in 5.3 minutes per game over 16 games during the 2023-24 season.


He enjoyed a successful college career, Averaged 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.4 steals in 32.6 minutes per game over two seasons with NC State, appearing in 66 total games.


Most recently he averaged 24.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists for the Shenzhen Leopards of the CBA, appearing in 45 games. He had multiple games with 40+ points, including a 44 point, 10 assist game on February 3rd against the Nanjing Monkey Kings.
