Scarborough Shooting Stars Re-Sign Jaden Campbell for Third Year
The prolific three point shooter joins Scarborough for a third year in the endsss
The Scarborough Shooting Stars are bringing back Jaden Campbell for his third straight season with Scarborough. The 6’5 guard has career averages of 6.2 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists on 41.9% shooting from the field and 40.5% from three over the last two seasons with Scarborough.
The 26 year old has been a consistently strong three point shooter throughout his NCAA and pro career. Campbell is third all time in three pointers made in Shooting Star franchise history with 59.
Campbell spent three years with the Samford University Bulldogs at the NCAA Division 1 level. He averaged 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game on 45% shooting from the field and 40% from three.
He spent one season with USK Praha in the top division in the Czech Republic, averaging 16.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game on 44% shooting from the field and 39% from three.
Campbell played against the Brampton Honey Badgers on Sunday night, scoring 8 points in 11 minutes on 66% shooting and helping Scarborough to a 99-95 win.
