U Sports Career

A member of the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men, Wyse joins the Shooting Stars on
CEBL Signing Day. Wyse won the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference Rookie of the Year award this past season after averaging 14.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals a game on 50% shooting.

Wyse is a strong and athletic wing with fantastic finishing around the rim abilities. He lived in the paint on both sides of the ball. His 9.6 rebounds a game were third in the AUS and his touch around the rim helped him score 286 total points which was third among all U Sports rookies last season. He’s an active defender as well, his 33 steals in 20 contests last season ranked ninth in the AUS.

The Toronto native played his high school basketball at St. Michaels College School.

CEBL Signing Day

Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) Signing Day replaces the CEBL Draft. Designed as a developmental opportunity for players in Canadian universities and colleges, these signings allow players to experience being pros for the first time. Through the draft, 116 student-athletes from 44 schools across Canada have been selected by CEBL clubs, a testament to the exceptional depth and calibre of Canadian university and collegiate basketball. CEBL Signing Day will continue that pathway for the 18 year old Wyse.
